Virtual Open Morning!!: We'll be holding a Virtual Open morning on Saturday 7th November live from 9:30am! More info here! »
Year 2 have thrown themselves into rehearsing and reciting Spring time poems and what better place to perform them than in our St. James’ nature garden and pond area. The children enjoyed watching each other’s recital and even a couple of frogs made an appearance for the show! We have now collected some of the frog spawn from the pond to observe the tadpoles hatch and grow over time.
The children have also been introduced to the works of Andy Goldsworthy. They enjoyed analysing the way his sculptures are made out of natural materials. We all went on a material hunt around the school grounds and used their various findings to create some very impressive works of art.
