Last Wednesday the Reception children invited our St. James’ Pre-school children to visit our farm. Each group of children organised their own activity based on the things we had done on our own farm visit. We had people collecting eggs, feeding the pigs and the kids, holding a baby chick, answering questions in a farm animal quiz, playing with the miniature farm, milking the cow and going on a bumpy tractor ride! The Reception children had to explain things and show the pre-school children what to do; we made our own resources, signs and labels. As you can see from the photos we had a few extra visitors too!
All the children did a brilliant job and a good time was had by all.
