Harvest Services

Next week, our Harvest services will take place in St James’ church.

This Year there will be 3 services:

Year 1, 2 and 3 will have their service between 9am -9.30am on Tuesday 26th September,

Year 4, 5 and 6 will have theirs between 9am -9.30am on Wednesday 27th September,

Finally Reception children will have their own special service, with St James’ Pre-school at 10.30am on Thursday 28th September.

We would like your child to bring in a voluntary contribution to help those who are not as fortunate as ourselves. If your child is able to bring a donation to give at their service, they will be added to those from parishioners. There is a notice on the small board near the playground saying where the goods will be going so tinned goods, packets of goods and “treats” would be very much appreciated. No perishables, please.

Although due to space restrictions we are not formally inviting parents to attend, we are happy for any parents who wish to join the service to do so, however it may be that you will need to stand at the back of the church.

Thank you for your support, we look forward to sharing our worship with you.
