This term the Year 6 children have been learning about World War 2, which has been a project that has reminded us all of the sacrifices our nation had to make.

Year 6 were also treated to two very important visitors…Mrs Dodd’s parents, Mr and Mrs Horrell, who not only answered any questions the children had on World War 2 but taught Year 6 a selection of war time songs.

It has also been lovely to hear the children talk about their family connections with World War 2 and even bringing in precious artefacts. See if you can spot the picture of Adolf Hitler which was bought in by a child whose Grandad captured a German spy!
