It is fair to say that the first competition for our Indoor Athletics team was a bit of a challenge, meaning that we knew we had to come back for our second competition stronger and even more determined. This attitude definitely paid off, and the team managed to secure wins in the girls obstacle, girls 6 lap and the boys 6 lap races. There were also several races where we came second, narrowly missing out on that coveted first place. The successes in our second competition put us in third place overall, missing out on 2nd place by only 2 points! Unfortunately, this meant that we missed out on a chance to compete in the final this year. However, this has only strengthened our drive and determination, and we are feeling positive about seeing success in ‘Quad Kids’, our summer athletics competition.

Thank you to all the indoor athletics team for your positivity, and ability to bounce back!

Dear Miss Rogers and Mrs Stopler:

I took this opportunity to say a big thank you for your support to Jiaxing during the event. I am very proud of our team, and how much efforts they put in. As Jiaxing said that he cant feel his legs during running, it made me laugh and realised how hard he tried. Well done children! Proud to be part of the team!
