Dear Everyone,

Now that we have passed the halfway point in the holiday, you may be struggling for ways to occupy your little people – have no fear!  Peter Thompson (the man who ran 44 marathons across 44 countries in 44 days) is at it again, but this time he’s running the entire course of the Tour De France over 70 days – about 30 miles a day… (gulp).

As his ‘official’ supporters, we have teamed up with Peter to offer St. James’ children the chance to design a logo that will go along with this exciting challenge.  No one else is entering so one of the children at St. James’ is going to have their design professionally rendered and enhanced and then given a platform across the world…!  Details are below, in brief:

  • Deadline is next Wednesday 18th April
  • The logo is to support Peter’s ‘Running the Tour’ challenge, but any design and any text will be considered
  • A logo needs to be clean, easy to understand and get across the main idea.  Think of the the famous logos you know of and you will be in the right ball park.
  • https://marathonsforthemind.com/  (for ideas and inspiration)
  • https://www.facebook.com/marathonsforthemind/  (follow the man if you’re on Facebook, we are his official supporters after all…!)
  • Designs should be submitted on a single page of A4, in full colour, with your child’s name and class written on the back.

Have fun and best of luck!
