Children from Year 4 traveled to Queen’s Park to compete in the Big Swing Golf Tournament hosted by the Park School.
The children went up against against 12 other schools to complete a range of team activities to earn points to move up the leader board. They had to use all their golf skills when aiming for targets, hitting coloured cones and completing a range of frantic relay activities – all under the pressure of the clock. Our budding golfers did fantastically well, earning near perfect scores on most of the activities!
Bonus points were on offer for examples of sportsmanship and the children did themselves proud with endless cheering, high-fives, encouragement and showing fantastic team spirit – they were a real credit to the school!
Our young golfers thoroughly enjoyed the experience; even the sudden downpour of rain couldn’t ruin this magnificent morning – well done!
