London class have been inspired to learn all about volcanoes after making and erupting their own in class this week! After watching some videos of real volcanoes erupting, they made their own volcanoes using a template, and mixed up their own ‘magma’ using baking soda, washing up liquid, red food colouring and vinegar. Then the excitement followed as they eagerly watched their volcanoes erupt. It was interesting to find out why this reaction happened, and what happens inside a real volcano. They couldn’t wait to find out more!
