Last week, Year 4 embarked upon an extremely exciting exhibition. They were told that buried treasure had been scattered all over Kings Park; however only had a compass, a map and a set of instructions containing compass directions to find the treasure. Not only this, they also had to mark on the aerial map of Kings Park where the treasure had been scattered. Thankfully, the noble explorers were able to use all of their learning about maps and compasses to successfully find all of the missing pieces. A fantastic lesson packed full of outdoor learning, the children will certainly ‘be prepared’ for future adventures!
