Year 3 have had a fantastic start to the Spring term and are fully immersed in their new project ‘Food for Thought.’ Last week the children prepared and made their own baguette for lunch, choosing their own tasty fillings. They also wrote a set of instructions for how to make them and created a recipe page. Mr Brown was even lucky enough to sample their culinary skills!
This week the children have studied the famous artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. They have been busy drawing different fruit and vegetables to then use for their portrait collage. The children had lots of fun choosing different foods for the nose, mouth, ears etc,
