Persuasive power of writing in Year 6

After looking at the response to a young Man Utd fan from Jurgen Klopp, Year 6 decided that it was time that we did some good old fashioned writing of our own!
We wrote letters to a person of our choice to either persuade them to do something for us or to give them some advice! The range of letters was fantastic and were as widespread as asking Megan Markle to stay in the UK, HM the Queen to give The Supervet a medal, Costa to stop selling plastic to advice for Eddie Howe about how to get Bournemouth’s winning streak back! There was some sensible advice to Jimmy Anderson about staying injury free for the cricket season, a request to Warner Brothers for a new Friends episode, requests for Little Mix or Billie Eilish to come and do a concert at St. James’ and even a letter to Mr Payne asking him to submit another team onto ‘Top Class’! These and so much more!
We have hunted down the addresses for as many as we can and sent them in the post. Now we wait for the replies… fingers crossed and, if Her Majesty decides to visit, you’ll be the first to know!!
