This week our project has been ‘All About Me’. It has been time for the children to think about who they are, where they are from, their families, what they like, what makes them special and how they have grown and changed. We can see how much they have all grown up since the beginning of the year. It has been great seeing all the work they have produced. They have shown both skill and concentration which are beyond where they were when they first started at the beginning of the year. We are really proud.
They have all done some amazing posters by drawing and writing about their families, their favourite foods and what they like. Chocolate and dinosaurs were both very popular, but not for the same reason! It was great finding out more about each other. We are so impressed with their hard work creating their posters.
Some of our amazing parents, big sisters and even some of our very own reception children have taken over reading our snack time stories too! Children who couldn’t read in September, reading whole books to their friends.
Thank you to everyone.
And we have shown how amazing we are at Maths too. Here we are ordering numbers!
And learning about capacity…
Some of us have even been learning a new skill over the past week or so. In school, children have had a go at golf and it has been great fun.
Maybe you could think of something new you would like to try too!
