In EYFS this term, we have been on an adventure around the world and the children have been learning about different countries whilst being at home or in school. So far, we have stopped at Australia and India and in the coming weeks we will be visiting South Africa and China! We have been immensely proud of the children for immersing themselves in this project and for showing such brilliant creativity.

During our week on Australia, the children made surfboards, boomerangs and didgeridoos. They learnt about which animals can be found in Australia as well as writing an acrostic poem about animals.

This week, it was the turn of India. Activities have included learning about Diwali, making Hendhi patterns, smelling spices, building models of the Taj Mahal and creating Rangoli Patterns. Once again, the children have been superstars and the photos below give a flavour of the work that has been created.
