As a school we are keen to offer the children a range of extra-curricular opportunities through both ‘after-school’ clubs and lunchtime clubs. Already this year the children have had the opportunity to participate in many sporting activities and clubs as well as 'Modern Foreign Language' clubs such as Spanish & French. We have also extended our Music provision by developing instrumental and music tuition opportunities as part of our daily timetable
Our aim is to build upon the exciting start we have made this year and to develop even more fun and enjoyable extra curricular opportunities... watch this space!!!

Other developments this term include the integration of Modern Foreign Languages across our curriculum from Reception to Y6. As a school, we held a 'Modern Foreign Languages Launch Day' in September where the children visited each classroom to participate in various 'language' activities including.... visiting, ordering and tasting food in a 'French Cafe'; Playing 'Hello BINGO' in different languages; Singing French songs and making Flags to name but a few! It proved to be a hugely successful and enjoyable day with a real 'buzz' of Foreign Language throughout the school! Following this, we have welcomed our Foreign Language Assistant - Miss Popovitch who will be working with every class in the school in assisting the teaching of French to all of our children - a very exciting opportunity.
