We were very nervous today because it was judging day for the Bournemouth in Bloom competition and all of our hard work in the sunshine garden was going to be put under the close scrutiny of the judges… The team from the Sunshine Room had prepared a small presentation to explain what we had been growing and how we had ensured that the plants were looked after and nurtured to grow. The judges asked some difficult questions and we held our breath nervously…
Amazingly, when the judges had finished their decision making, they informed us that we had won a prize!!! Kazzam!! We have only been invited to take a team of 6 children and 2 adults to the County Hall to meet the Mayor and receive our award, haven’t we!! We are so delighted to have won such a prestigious prize and the whole team are very proud of all their hard work. We also want to say a huge thank you to Mrs Dimambro and Mrs Bircham for their support.
