Last week it was the lunch sitting times and the tables and benches. Today, after an assembly to explain the process, we rolled out the playground games!
After a week of training and preparation, the play leaders had a final briefing out on the playground before our new look lunchtime zones came into effect.
Children are leading the games, supporting others and helping to keep things flowing, all supported by adults when needed. Today’s pictures are the ‘clean’ ones – a playground prepared and ready for its clientele. Tomorrow you get to see some of the zones populated with children.
Spoiler alert – it went really well!! Calmer children, more engaged play, really positive feedback and this was only day one. Thanks you to our play leaders and Miss Tummon and Miss Rogers for all their hard work getting ready for today.
