Look at this photo that one of our alert parents spotted on display in Boscombe!! The St. James CE School football team from the 1920-21 season, almost one hundred years ago! The two rather stern looking coaches are rather dapper in their suited attire, even if the one on the right looks a bit like David Seaman’s dad…! Ahhhh, those were the days, when we used jumpers for goalposts, starched woollen tops for the goalie and it was still OK to write on a football with tippex… What a wonderful blast from our past!
