Perhaps the only time we delight in the front of school looking like a fly tipper’s paradise is on a morning like today, when so many individuals from our community have come together to fill a bag (or bags) with your unwanted clothing and other items to donate them for use and distribution by the Bag2School charity. We receive 40p per kilo of fabric and your brilliant generosity today resulted in a fantastic 450kg of clothing, which equates to £180 of funding! Nice work everyone!
Once again, I’d like to thank the PSA for organising and coordinating this collection – without their endless ideas, energy and enthusiasm we would be a lot worse off. Thank you PSA, and anyone else who wishes to join their ranks and be a part of this fantastic and growing team of volunteers, please find more information in the menu bar at the top of the website or come along to the next meeting – Monday 5th June at school at 7.30pm.
