Last Thursday saw the school hall transformed into a catwalk for the evening as a fashion show came to town! Our fabulous PSA once again delivered a wonderful event to raise money for the benefit of all the children in our school. At the moment we are raising funds to support the purchase of a new reading scheme to significantly improve the engagement and breadth of opportunity available to support the development of our children’s reading skills. Both parents and teachers stepped up bravely to perform as models for the evening, and a plentiful supply of nibbles and bubbly was on hand to ensure the event ran like an evening at the Paris Fashion Week…! Thank you to everyone who attended to support, to the PSA for their considerable organising skills, to our models for their donated time and to Mr Broyd for assembling and dismantling the stage in short order to allow all the other events that were timetabled in the hall to continue running as usual. Once we know how much was raised we will, of course, pass this news on.
