Recently, selected children from Years 5 and 6 took part in a rounders tournament competing against other local primary schools. In total, we played 4 matches where each child was determined to achieve the best for our team. When fielding, the team communicated well, supported one another and congratulated the other teams. Whilst batting, we gave it our all and scored some fantastic whole rounders. The most impressive thing about our St James team was the way in which they won and lost graciously and showed phenomenal sportsmanship towards others. Each member of the team should be incredibly proud of the way they worked together to achieve a positive result.
