In Year 3, we have many inspiring pupils who go over and above for what they believe in. This web post stars a young girl who is incredibly selfless, someone who put the needs of others over her own on her birthday.
One young girl has very proudly received a certificate celebrating the fact that at her 8th birthday party, herself (along with friends and family) raised money for a toilet in Malawi to be twinned with her own here. This has also raised awareness with those closest to her about the unsanitary conditions which some have to cope with and this will hopefully inspire others to twin their toilet too.
I feel this is an astonishing achievement and a heart warming tale which should encourage us all to be a little more selfless every now and then. Well done, you little legend!

Yay! Well done you! The money you have raised will make such a difference, it’s hard to imagine life without a loo. What a wonderful and selfless thing to do on your birthday x
