Every so often a little ray of sunshine makes its way into my office to share a recent achievement, piece of fantastic learning or some wonderful news.  Today, I was lucky enough to be confronted by this magnificent Year 3 mathemagician who has completely learned every one of her times tables from 0 – 12!  Not one to miss an opportunity, I put her immediately to the test with every times table, including the tricky 7×8 and 7×12 ones – literally every one correct and a faultless performance.

All children are now expected to know all their times tables by the end of year 4, so we are super proud of this young calculator who has got there a year early… please don’t forget to keep testing your children at home, there are tables laid out in every child’s home/school book and you can mark the completed tables with stickers!  Wahey!  Keep it up!
