Wow, what a fantastic World Book Day we had at school. The snow meant that some of our planned activities were titivated slightly to take advantage of the weather! Otter Class kicked off the day with their Class Worship then the children had the opportunity to share their favourite book with their Year 6 Buddy. In the afternoon, the whole school assembled into their House Teams for ‘House Story Time’ where the House Captains read stories. We wrote and shared snowy poems and wrote tweet style reviews. We even managed to incorporate the snow into our phonics lesson. Overall, lots of book related fun, enjoyed by all!
