After a rather snowy and wintry bit of weather, Year 2 are glad that Spring has arrived.  We have recently been planting our bean seeds ready for our science related project ‘roots and shoots’. We will be caring for our plants, giving them water, sunlight, warmth, time and nutritious soil as the children have been learning what plants need in order to survive.

Each week we will measure our bean plants to see who’s grows the tallest…. the competition has started!!

We are also very lucky to have tadpoles in our class this year, kindly brought in by some of the children. We will be watching them grow before releasing them into our school pond.
