Last Thursday morning, the whole school had the exciting opportunity to run the Sport Relief Mile down at Kings Park stadium in order to raise both awareness and vital funding for Sports Relief.

Children were asked to complete four laps of the running track (one mile) and it was fantastic to see every child run, jog or walk the distance, with many exceeding expectations and rising to the challenge of running further. The determination and drive that came from the children this morning was impressive, and those who were initially unsure became experts who were tackling the track with gusto! The enthusiasm and energy from all children was fantastic and everybody was brave enough to give it a go. What a fun-filled morning we had.

Thank you to all the adults who gave up their time to come and assist us, as well as those who came down to the stadium to cheer us on.
