Over the duration of two days, Year One were set a challenge by Captain Bellamy. They were asked to complete a number of different tasks, such as: creating their own lanterns, making their own passports and even building their own ships made out of foam blocks. If all 60 children successfully completed all eight challenges they would then receive hidden treasure.

To our relief, I can safely say that Year One were GREAT EXPLORERS and managed to complete all the tasks. They all went home with golden coins and a yummy cupcake.
