Children in Year 6 have researched, designed and modeled their very own Galapagos islands! Using newspaper, children started by creating the base shape of their chosen island.
They then covered these in plaster rolls to give a textured base for painting over.
Children then experimented with mixing different paints in order to complement the colours of the volcanic islands in real life.
The result? Stunning Island models!
