As part of our ‘Secrets of the Furious Five’ project, Year 6 have been learning some ‘patience’ working with the ancient Chinese tangram puzzles. Seven simple shapes which you can use to make a whole plethora of shapes and pictures!

It stretched our thinking skills and maths application as you can put any shapes from the tangram any way round as long as they are adjacent but not overlapping. See what you can spot in our finished products.
