To link in with our Curious Creatures topic we invested in a butterfly garden and a number of caterpillars. Over the course of the last few weeks we have nurtured our caterpillars, watched them spin their silk to create their shiny chrysalis and then transform and emerge as a beautiful butterflies. The children have loved watching this life cycle and we were very excited to release our butterflies today.
