Year 2 had a ‘whale of a time’ at Weymouth Sea Life Centre!

As part of our project, ‘Under the Sea,’ we went there to learn more about sea creatures and experience them for ourselves. We were not disappointed and we were very excited to see penguins, seals, otters, gigantic turtles, seahorses, sharks, stingrays and an assortment of different fish. One of the highlights was being able to touch a starfish!

After a hectic tour of the centre, we enjoyed a picnic lunch in Caribbean Cove and explored the climbing frames and slides. A visit to the splash park was a refreshing way to end our day and ‘soak up’ any remaining energy!

58 children and 10 adults slept very well that night!
