Full time school has commenced and we couldn’t be prouder of all our little Seals and Dolphins! They have had a fantastic first week, and are beginning to learn the new routines of school life and each other’s names!
Our first project in Reception is ‘Marvellous Me’ and we have been learning all about our school, class, families and friends. The children have started to bring in their ‘special boxes’ from home which contain items that are important to them and we are very much looking forward to sharing these with each other next Wednesday.
We have also been practising our independence, such as raising our hands on the carpet when we would like to share something and putting on our coats. Already, we have spotted some very kind and caring children who have been helping each other to do up their zips and buttons.
