You may or may not be aware that space is at a premium in our lovely school – and we are constantly on the search to try and wrestle every last inch out of the building and the slim opportunities it provides as a physical space to enhance learning for all our children.
Well, we found a new space!! At the bottom of the year 5 stairwell we have converted what was a cold, unused and deserted small room into a lovely, cosy and supportive Snug!! The space will be used to support a range of children who may need time to work away from others, who may benefit from routine and certainty that cannot always be guaranteed in a normal classroom environment with 30 active and excited learners.
We are looking forward to putting it into action and making the most of our Snug.
