In our ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) lessons this term, Year 3 have been thinking about Forgiveness. We started off the term by each writing our own recipe for a good friendship . . . 3 cups of kindness, 2 spoonfuls of fun, a sprinkle of love, a dash of loyalty and a bucket load of forgiveness! We then thought about what good communication looks like and why forgiveness is so important. On 5th March we had the wonderful opportunity to lead the whole school worship and share the importance of Forgiveness. We sang songs, accompanying them with sign language, and shared the parable of The Unforgiving Servant. We reminded everyone that Christians believe that God forgives us every time we are sorry for the wrong things we have done. He wants us to forgive others in a similar way, forgiving them every time they are sorry. Forgiveness is one of our school Christian values and we believe that by forgiving each other we can make our school a safe, happy and peaceful place to come each day.
