Before Christmas, we ran a Reading Challenge to see how many hours of reading we could complete as a school in the first 15 days of December.  Many of you took part and were sponsored to do so.  Incredibly, we managed to raise a grand total of £2066!!  This will be spent on getting more books for the library which we hope you will all be able to enjoy once we come back from this pandemic.   Beijing class came third overall, with a combined read of 3017 minutes.  Paris were second with 3288 minutes and Turtle get the bragging rights with an amazing 5663 minutes of reading in total.  Also, a big congratulations to George Johnson in Santiago (17hrs 30 minutes), Martha Ivaldi of Turtles (21hrs 15mins) and Orson Wardley Marsh in Paris with an incredible 27hrs and 30 minutes reading.  They were our top three children and will all have a new library book dedicated to them as reward!!  Well done everyone!
