This half term, EYFS have been learning all about people who help us. The children have immersed themselves in a range of activities to explore the different job roles of key people in our community, such as firefighters, police officers, vets, doctors and lifeguards. The children have loved playing in the role play areas and dressing up. They have also been using shapes, junk modelling resources and ‘imagination station’ equipment to make fire engines, machines and lifeboats that float. We have had lots of fun talking about what the children want to be when they grow up. We had a superb mix of professions, from professional footballers, vets, zoo keepers . . . . and even Ninjas!! A special thank you to all of the visitors that have come into school or delivered virtual presentations. The visits really enhanced the children’s learning and were great fun too!
