Last Friday, Year 5 went down to Southbourne beach to do geographical fieldwork…. and have some well-deserved fun!!
We completed 4 geographical activities: litter picking to do our part for conserving the ocean, drawing maps with symbols and keys, creating a Venn diagram of the beach in the past and present and finally studying the direction of the waves with a compass.
Our favourite activity was dipping our feet in the sea at lunch time!
A massive thank you to the amazing adults who helped to make the trip possible!
