As part of our Music curriculum, our Key Stage 2 children were fortunate enough to have the chance to watch a live performance of Mambossa – Cuban, Brazilian, and Latin music. The group kindly shared with the children some traditional Brazilian instruments such as the Caxixi and Berimbal. We listened to samba reggae and joined in with the call and response session.
Finally, we all sang a samba reggae piece called “Olodum” by Jimmy Cliff. Here are a few clips and photos for your viewing.
