Tadpoles now have two land crabs from Java. The children have enjoyed watching them move sideways, explore their tank and use their claws. There has been lots of interest in how they behave and what they need to be looked after properly. 

Ducklings Class have also welcomed their own new pets...giant African snails. The children have been fascinated watching them slowly move around and come out of their shells. They are learning what the snails like to eat and how to care for them.

Both classes are really enjoying getting to know their new pets and taking responsibility for looking after them.
