Week Beginning 9th February 2026

Next week is Children's Mental Health Week as well as Safer Internet Day. These are both very important causes and we will be completing lots of activities throughout the week to inform the children about these important subjects. 

   

Key Information:

Friday 13th February - Break up for half term @ 3pm
Monday 23rd February - Return to school for term 4

Thursday 5th March - World Book Day

Thursday 18th June - Amazon and Nile Class Worship

 

Worship- Our worship theme this week is: Love

This week's learning 

Maths - We will be learning about how to make a pound and find change using coins

English - We will be writing up our instructions on how to make chocolate cornflake cakes

Phonics - We will be looking at 'o' saying 'u'

History - Understand how social change is being achieved in Ghana through Mondelez investment (Cadbury)

RE - We will be learning about Maha Shivaratri, the Hindu festival

PSHE - We will be learning about how people are similar and different in our community

Art- We will exploring Illustrations  (Quentin Blake)
