Happy New Year! We hope you have had a lovely Christmas break with your families. Thank you all for your thoughtful gifts to the staff too, we really appreciate your kindness.

Friday 13th February - Break up for half term @ 3pm
Monday 23rd February - Return to school for term 4

Thursday 5th March - World Book Day

Worship Theme This Week

Hope - Epiphany 6th January 

Matthew 2: 1-2 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” 

Next week's learning 

Maths - We will be looking at 2D and 3D shapes

English - We will looking at the Story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Phonics - identify the sound 'ture' making the 'cher' sound

Science - We will be investigating what animals need to survive. 

RE - We will be learning about Maha Shivaratri, the Hindu festival

PSHE - We will be learning about roles and responsibilities within our community and celebrating differences between people.  

Art- We will exploring Illustrations  (Quentin Blake)
