Over the last half-term, we have been learning all about Judaism in Year 3. We have explored the key beliefs of the religion and had a deep dive into the festival of Hanukkah.
This term, we are looking more deeply at the story of Passover and how some Jewish people celebrate it. This week, we were lucky enough to have a Jewish visitor who invited us to explore the traditions of her family. The children were told the story of Passover and ate symbolic food from a Seder Plate. The children learnt the meanings behind each food and how it relates to the story.
