Recently, Year 3 were lucky enough to have the Treehouse Theatre come to visit and teach us all about the Roman invasion of Britain. Throughout the morning, the children worked in groups to learn parts of a play that showed the story of key individuals during the Roman Invasion and in the afternoon, everyone performed! We had some amazing impressions of Julius Caesar, Boudicca and Emperor Claudius. The children were absolutely incredible actors and learnt so much more about our topic.

While the children were not learning the play, they took part in lots of different Roman activities. The children made Roman coins out of clay, beautifully designed mosaics and became code breakers using Roman numerals.

Thank you to everyone for putting so much effort into dressing up. The children looked fabulous!
