Year 6 PGL residential
Year 6's long-awaited trip to PGL!
Year 6 had an unforgettable time on their residential trip to PGL Osmington Bay - four days packed full of adventure, fun and teamwork. From the moment we arrived, the children threw themselves into every challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Activities such as the trapeze, abseiling, street surfing, the giant swing, aeroball, archery, Jacob’s ladder and problem-solving tested their courage, resilience, and teamwork — they rose to each one brilliantly.
Throughout the trip, the children supported one another, showed kindness and respect, and represented St James with pride. The adults were incredibly proud of how they conducted themselves, not just during activities, but in every aspect of the trip-good job Team 6! It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they took themselves out of their comfort zone.
On the final night, the children celebrated all of their achievements with a much-anticipated disco, full of laughter and excellent dance moves! By the time we returned to school, the coach was filled with tired but happy children - it really was a trip to remember.
