Wonderful Writing in Year 1
We are so proud that we have so many children at St James' that love to write! We have created this blog to showcase some of the incredible pieces of work that our children have created.
Our wonderful Year 1 children have been focusing on the story 'I am Nefertiti' by Annemarie Anan during National Storytelling Week. The children attended a live lesson hosted by the author which fully absorbed them in the story. The children then talked about all the wonderful things that make them who they are.
We are so proud of Year 1 and the fantastic poems they were able to produce.
The teachers of Year 1 have hung them up in the classroom to remind the children of everything that is amazing about them!
