Last term, Year 4 were learning all about climate change and plastic pollution. Thinking about how these things affect nature inspired them to create poems about different parts of the world. They looked at some incredible poets like James Reeves, Emily Dickinson and William Wordsworth to provide some inspiration. The children were able to include some of the poetry techniques modelled in their poem such as similes, metaphors and personification. 

Year 4 did such a fantastic job and highlighted some of the wonders of nature and proved why they need protection.
