As part of our reading incentive, some of our pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed a lovely walk to our local Costa, where they treated themselves to a babyccino and spent time reading their favourite books. 

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their reading achievements, talk about the many benefits of reading and continue to promote a lifelong love of books and stories. Reading helps children develop their vocabulary, imagination, knowledge and confidence, while also providing a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy new worlds and experiences.

Meanwhile, some of our younger pupils enjoyed Books and Biscuits with Mr Brown — the perfect combination! 

We are so proud of our pupils for embracing reading and enjoying the rewards that come with it. Well done to everyone who took part!
