Published 04/10/24Year 5 had the pleasure of visiting our wonderful local Makla to experience some of the local cuisine linking closely to our Ancient Greek project. We tried all sorts of new food, including hummus, pitta bread, rice filled vine leaves, feta, olives and tzatziki.
We had a fantastic time tasting all the different foods and immersing ourselves in the culture. We then filled out a taste card where we rated what we had eaten and why. It was interesting to hear why the children liked some foods and not others.
